About Melissa

An extroverted multi-hyphenated creative professional who has built a career adapting to the ebbs and flows of life! Melissa has a rich passion for intentional and charming storytelling and a drive for production and team management and connecting with her community.

Since graduating Sheridan College’s Animation program and receiving the Wacom Student Excellence Award for her volunteer leadership roles, Melissa has built steady experience in dependable leadership and team roles within 3D and 2D animation pipelines. She credits her success to her ability to pivot, self-manage, and problem-solve through work and life’s challenges with a positive attitude and sense of humour. She keeps busy through personal creative ventures, from handmade crafts and sketching, and likes to unwind by escaping the hustle and bustle of the city to the green outdoors. Currently, she enjoys working as a barista in her local cafe to connect with her neighbourhood and friendly faces!

She is passionate about connecting and supporting others through open and safe communication, making her a valuable addition to any team setting from a creative artist to a supportive administrative role.

Melissa has worked with multiple studios in the animation world as visual development and character artist, including Industrial Brothers, Titmouse, Wildbrain, and Chuck Gammage Animation.
